Why We Built This Site
Colorado gives the public several paths to court and public records, but the right path depends on the record. Grand County District Court and County Court case files route through the Clerk of Court at the Grand County Judicial Center. Recorded deeds, plats, liens, marriage and civil-union certificates, and vital records route through the county Clerk and Recorder. Jail, warrant, and sheriff report records follow Sheriff's Office channels when releasable.
Grand County also has municipal court records for local traffic, parking, animal, and code matters in towns such as Winter Park, Fraser, and Granby. A single name search is not enough to cover those differences. This site organizes official sources, request steps, contacts, and access limits by record type.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Colorado court, Grand County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, prosecutor, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, or procedure listed here is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. This site can identify the likely office, but the document has to come from that office.
